The way of the world is pomp and circumstance. ``Make way for me.”
``Look me over.” Not so for the Christian. As an example, we can look to our Savior, who being found in the fashion of a man, humbled Himself and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
And why should we be proud? Everything that we have was given to us; every blessing we receive was purchased by His sacrifice on the cross. As one of the old Puritans put it, ``All our blessings come swimming to us in the blood of Jesus.”
