Hebrews 10:37
For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry. Hebrews 10:37
Jesus came the first time to suffer and die for our sins. He was ridiculed, insulted, abused, and tortured; He came as the Lamb of God to be slaughtered as a sacrifice for our sins.
His second coming will not be in the role of a lamb, but as the Lion of the tribe of Judah. He is coming not to suffer but to judge; not to submit, but to reign; not to be mocked and ridiculed, but be honored and obeyed.
Even so, come Lord Jesus!
